Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for! First–for the cross—for God loving us enough—to send His only Son so that we could be cleansed from our sins….freed from bondage…once and for all.
As we sat around the table tonight at my mothers, she instructed us that as we finished our meal and headed for dessert, we were to be thinking of what we wanted to share that we were thankful for. Salvation was high on the list….family running a close second.
As I looked around the table at the family I love dearly, we had a few missing due to jobs or other family obligations, but the thought occurred to me that I have this every single Thursday. Thankful “Thanksgiving” Thursdays! Every single week. We set aside time out of our days each week to join around a “table of thanksgiving” and share what the Lord has done in our lives. I am so thankful for the “bloggity sisters” that join around our “bloggy” table and give thanks and credit to our Sovereign Lord!
Ladies, you bless me….I thank you.
God bless you and I look forward to seeing all of your thanksgiving pictures and hearing the highlights of your holiday! I will post mine later this weekend! I love you all!
I am truly thankful for everything the Lord has blessed me with! We serve an incredible God! He is so good to each of us…..take time and look around you at what you have, and look at the wonderful display of grand beauty He displays for you each and every day! Thank Him for the “details” of life that He lovingly tends to each day.

You are right, Angie — we have much to be thankful for, especially the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior. He took all the sins and nailed them to the cross with Him…You know, lately I have been thinking about His death. He went to the cross without hesitation. Although He struggled a little in the garden of Gethsemane, He went through with it – what a blessing.>I am so glad that you had the time with your family today. We missed our son at the table today, but we will meet up with him this weekend.>>Thank you so much for sharing and thank you for stopping by. Blessings to you and yours.
