Chewed anything good lately? Max has.

For those of you who follow the rambling, romping life of Max, here are a few updated pictures. Taken just this weekend. He is Mr. Serious. But only for these shots…in real life, he is a rambunctious pile of fur that loves to CHEW on anything. From sticks, to patio furniture–to rocks, towels, shoes, etc….you get the picture? Wait, he chewed the picture!

Yes, I know this now….but I wouldn’t trade him for anything!

You know, the LORD wouldn’t trade us for anything either. He knows our faults, missteps, and many times we do things that are against His nature, yet He loves us on. He points us in the direction of the Cross—if we are looking to HIM for the answer.

Max loves to play fetch. He will run and stand where he THINKS the ball or frizzbie will land…and sometimes I throw him off…just to see if he’s paying attention.

Sometimes God uses the oddest things to get our attention….to see if we are listening…and watching. He is constantly sending me reminders of His love. Much like the little hearts we pass around on facebook!

Let me share this passage from Psalm 139:1-3 (NLT)

O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.

There is nothing He is not aware of. From the trials you face today, to the joys that will come tomorrow! He knows all about it and has equipped you to face the ordeal around the next bend in the road. Lean on Him. Take your burdens to HIM.

Stand where He’s about to throw out the blessing!

Angie, How timely your post is for me.
I have been under a very dark cloud these past 2 weeks. Seemed I could not find my Lord no matter how hard I tried.
I was in an unending pain in my back and leg from arthritis in my pelvis and back. Found out Wed. ,I have spurs on my pelvis bone too. Will have the injection again to help get relief.

Then my car was missing and the service engine light came on , I was so scared it would be too expensive for me to have fixed.
The anniversary of my husbands 2 year in heaven was past Tuesday so I really felt alone. God knows I almost went under ,feeling hopeless. I thought if I feel like this what do the unsaved do…
If it wasn't that I have made up my mind that no matter what ,I will serve the Lord ,I could have easily give up on life.
I finally got to the bone doctor and found out it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be.Then the garage called today & my bill was $45.
How I thought ” God comes through again ” for me.
So you are so right. there is no trial are problem he isn't taking care of for his children..
But I think , where Oh where does my faith flee to so fast when I have trials that I can't see the answer to.
    Thank you for this post.
    bless you
    Elsie <><
