The Junk Pile

2010-04-03 Easter-Mothers 034

To the average eye, this pile of junk appears to be just that.  A pile of junk.

But to the recycler…it is so much more!

That’s us too friend.  Sometimes we may feel as if our lives are just a pile of junk…but to the Recycler…we are so much more!

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving kindness.  I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt…” Jeremiah 31:3(b)

“They will be like a well watered garden, and they will sorrow no more….I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.” Jeremiah 31:12(b) & 13(b) NIV

“For I am about to do a brand-new thing. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert!”  Isaiah 43:19 NLT

How great is the love of the Father!  He takes us just as we are.  Rust, dirt, broken pieces, covered in the debris of the world—just as we are.  He removes all the ugly and replaces it with His Light—which comes from His Son!

Thank You Father! For removing the ugly—for removing the “me”—the selfishness of my life and replacing it with the beauty that comes only from the Light.  Thank You Father for the heart transplant I have received through the life, death and resurrection of Your only Son, Jesus Christ!  Thank you for saving those we love who are lost without You!  Thank You for taking them by the hand and pointing them Home.

Take the remainder of my days and make them pleasing only to You!  Keep my feet planted firm and sure on the straight path!  I give it all up to You Lord.  In the name of Your only Son I pray—believing as I have prayed—it is accomplished!~Amen.

Angie….. thanks for coming by my blog and the sweet words you shared. I can tell you that my life has changed so very much in the past few months and life is just not my own. I know that the Father God has given me a task to do and I have done that to the best of my ability. BUT I have had to let go and give this all to the Father as I am exhausted and emotionally tired. I find in life that what we think the Lord has planned for us is a life time away from what HE calls us to do. I had thought that at this point in my life I would be teaching and preaching but HE had other things for me…. What a precious gift HE has given me to participate in the caring for my parents.

I so care for each of you here in the blog but I just have very little time to come and share….. Thanks for your friendship and your prayers… I think they under gird me more than I know..
