Thankful Thursdays

Thankful—for Miracles

Our sweet Iris is hosting Thankful Thursday….be sure and visit and tell her how much we appreciate her dedication to the work of the Lord! This is a ministry—an uplifting encouraging faith walk….requiring lots of time, energy and —did I say time??? She has dedicated herself to helping us “encourage one another” as we are directed to do in the scriptures.

This Thursday, I am so thankful for Iris. For being the encouragement to my heart in so many ways. Girl, if we lived near one another, there would be a distinct path (or trench), from my door to yours….with drops of coffee spilt along the way!

This Thursday, I am thankful for all the miracles the Lord has provided in my life. Read about 4 awesome miracles here.

This Thursday, I am thankful that sweet Donetta honored me with a “You Lift me up” award. I feel so inadequate when I am blessed with something like this. God has blessed my life in many ways….especially in the way of friendships. Thank you Donetta.

This Thursday, I am thankful that I can pick up the phone and call my pastor for help with scriptures (locating and thoughts—ideas) and I am helped! Thank you again Pastor Potter!

This Thursday, I am thankful that on Friday morning, my sisters, my mother and my aunt will venture out again for our “mother-sister weekend” of prayer, fellowship, bible study and “shopping”. Just a little shopping! Thanks Juno, for helping me with some verses….but mostly for giving me Aimee for the weekend! Thanks Mark for lending me Wanda, thanks Grandbuddy, for allowing mother to “minister” to us, and thank you Aunt Evielean, for coming along with us again and providing “tea cakes”—at least that’s what I am hoping for!

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.” ~ Psalm 28:7 (ESV)

Thank you God, for every miracle of life you give us. Thank you for the blessings of so many friends and wonderful family.

For my regular readers, I will be “out of pocket” until Monday. Please read my miracles —it is lengthy…..sorry about that—but there was just so much that needed to be shared. April assures me she is getting “her side” ready for me to post!
